Warm welcome and attentive service made a significant impression. The staff ensured a fuss-free arrival and provided accurate parking information. Our meal was freshly cooked and beautifully presented, earning praise for the chef. The room was impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, though breakfast could benefit from a wider continental selection. Comfortable beds and pleasant ambiance marked a great stay.

Food was fab, staff was excellent and attentive.

The unit we got was recently refurbished and reasonably large with bar, best shower, for instance.

Appreciated the place, had an absolutely amazing stay right in the town. The location was stunning, just a short walk away from Bedale Golf Club. Moreover, it was just off Yorkshire, restaurant, and the centre of Bedale. ...  

I had a cozy stay in a single room with a lovely newly refurbished en suite, and the evening meal was a standout with delicious fish and hand-cut chips. There were also great spots to relax, including a charming outdoor seating area and BBQ facilities. The only hiccup was the climb up the stairs with my biker gear, but it didn't ruin my experience at all! 😊

Charming Rural Retreat with Delicious Dining

We enjoyed a lovely two-night stay, relishing hearty dishes made with fresh ingredients in the cozy pub. The good staff, and the selection of local ales was excellent. A perfect spot for lunch or dinner with friendly, cute vibes. Make sure to try their proper chips!

I had a great stay! Breakfast was quick and delicious, and I loved the twice-cooked brisket from the menu. Room was large and comfortable.

Our beautiful king room overlooked the market area, lovely. The staff was great and very attentive, and breakfast was really good. We also enjoyed excellent food from the pub. Their steak & ale pie is awesome!...  

Had a lovely clean room with a comfy bed. Road noise was pretty loud in the morning, though. The breakfast featured great local ingredients and was served quickly. It's dog-friendly, a plus for pet owners.

Recommend for a weekend pause

Beautiful room, comfortable bed, with a huge and super comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep and a totally dog-friendly atmosphere, made traveling with our three-year-old cocker spaniel easy....  

I couldn't get enough of the tasty fruit salads and the great brekkie that The Green Dragon serves! Plus, their bar is a right cozy spot to unwind. The friendly staff add a lovely touch.

A cheeky suggestion for the managers, an 8 am breakfast start would be grand for us early birds!

My stay this weekend was really enjoyable. The staff were cute and the breakfast was delicious with fresh local ingredients. The atmosphere exceeded my expectations.
